Listen: Womp Womp by Jeremih & Valee

Sometimes repetitive is good. ‘Repetitive’ is what makes an ear worm. But how to do it without making anyone mad? Start with a hook that gets under the skin, and repeat it in enough different textures to make the stagnancy feel like progress. That’s what we get in Womp Womp from Valee and and Jeremih. For Adults, Only Because We Didn’t Learn Earlier

Amazing how we still can’t talk about sex, isn’t it? But one society’s massive blindspot is another enterprise’s opportunity. Enter: a slew of adult sex ed companies, who host and record conversations about normal-ass sex stuff to show us all that we’re ok (and capable of experiencing pleasure in various ways, etc). Take Touchpoint, for example, a regular event (and podcast) where people gather to tell theirĀ intimate stories and answer questions about things like disclosing dating styles and defining relationships. Or Cycles and Sex, a website and instagram account where you can go to ask literally all your questions about policy, pleasure, UTIs, you name it. Thanks, peers, for doing what our elders were too embarrassed to do.

For your coffee table, then

1 Yew Yew pipe, architectural and arty, and 1 issue of Math Magazine:Ā radically inclusive porn, also arty. You’re feeling more evolved already.

Keep it up and maybe these crazy Millennials will make ‘the talk’ into ‘the ongoing, stigma-free conversation.’ What a world.
