Sorcha Richardson describes her single, “Don’t Talk About It,” as “a song about avoiding conflict and trying to keep the peace, no matter how much you end up sacrificing in order to do so.” Accordingly, its lyrics, “it’s ok, we don’t have to talk about it; it’s only love” ride all smiley over a sunny bit of beach pop in a sonic portrait of denial. The video is another simple stroke of genius, spending three minutes zooming in on Sorcha’s fake smile. She breaks at the end, though. Watch it here.

Wedding, party of two
It’s officially wedding season, and instagram is here to prove it. Or–wait–improve it? In the most NYT Styles piece of all time, please read about luxury elopements: lavish weddings at spendy venues with no guests, staged to post directly to the socials. Whoa, let’s just talk dating
For those further from marriage, there’s a new chatbot to help you ghost. Entitled “Ghostbot,” it does the work of mostly-not-responding for you, only occasionally chiming in with a copout to proposed plans. Finally, a tool to ease the burden of being terrible.
Should you choose to elope
Consider ordering a crop of monogrammed selfie sticks– could be a nice memento to send to all the people you didn’t invite to your fabulous wedding.
