My name-a Borat!

Listen: Believe by Amen Dunes

Off his red-white-and-blue-covered album called ‘Freedom’, Amen Dunes’ ‘Believe’ is a mighty fine little folk song. It’s dark with soft edges, discussing mortality through a rapid chord progression that resolvesfrequently in round guitar strums. Add this one to your collection.

Sacha Baron Cohen, at it again

And this time it’s super real. For his new show, ‘Who Is America?’ he’s already managed to prank Bernie Sanders, Sarah Palin, Joe Arpaio, Dick Cheney, Carly Fiorina, Roy Moore, David Patraeus and others into saying some seriously stupid shit to pretty unbelievable characters, all portrayed by Cohen himself. So far only the Palin episode is out and she’s fought back against the insensitivity of his guise as a disabled veteran. But there’s way more to come, and everybody’s feeling dumb. Except for Sacha, and the public, whom I’d expect to be disquieted by this very effective commentary on fake news. One of those laugh/cry situations. Anyway, watch Joe Walsh talk about getting pranked on CNN.

But what is fake news, really

The Washington Post last week cited a Clickhole article as real news in their coverage of London’s Trump protests. The Onion wins again.

(Or do they? This is the image Breitbart produced from the ordeal.)

Smile for the camera $

Well at least Joe Walsh’s teeth were gleaming in that recap video. Should you have to apologize or your Borat-induced bad behavior on camera at any point, make sure your mouth game is on point. Starting at $25, Quip delivers a sweet electric toothbrush, plus replacement brush heads every 3 months so you can build good hygiene habits. First refill’s free, that’s how they get ya. Try here.

Just one big oopsie.
